That's because Clinton is only slightly liberal and only when held in comparison to the far-right. She has the same agenda as 90% of the Republican candidates.

AP a bunch of younger and less payed reporters who go to certain areas where the MSM generally won't pay folks to go.

They report a lot of news without the 'flair'. Most news sources globally depend upon them for certain content. That includes Iraqi news reports

It is only that if media monopoly's are what concern you... Murdock is the least of your problems..

Soros manages to stay out of the press somehow.. and well... Ted turner also gets a pass...

But sure... lets get all worked up over Murdock..

From Murdoch's network. A 'scare tactic' passed off as real news. Not the first time I posted something like this. Now we can expect more of the same from the WSJ.

The breeding ground for terrorists is lying about their nation to the people of the USA and then invading them.

Very insidious practices at play here.

What about Ted Turners little network.. YA know the guy that was married to ummm Jane Fonda..

Do we really have to get into that ****ing match?

And really.. What is with this bullchit?

Those 4000 employees probably make as much as Bill O collectively. Where is the joke in that?

I mean I just sit here at the computer and goof off most days and make more money than my employee's.

Should I feel bad about that.. Should I give them all pay raises? Should I pay my labours the same as my supervisor.. I mean they all work hard right?

Maybe those 4000 should get together and find a way to tax Bill O down to their level.. then we could have world peace..

It is owned by Time-Warner. He is a small entity at this point in time. Still very rich. It is run by CEO Dick Parsons.

Do we really have to get into that ****ing match?

And really.. What is with this bullchit?

Bill O should make as much as he can like everyone else. Like I said most of the AP reporters are inexperienced and younger so they get paid less. As they get the experience they move up the food chain

You are so full of chit... Yeah the AP hires all the young and inexperienced reporters.. HAHAHHAHAHA...

The AP prides themselves on being an entry level news organization .. I am sure of that... HAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAA..

So after getting some training at the AP.. they move up the food chain.. HAHAHHAHAHAHA

And on to what... A bigger news organization with more opportunity.. and world wide prestige HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA..

Yeah everyone knows the path to success in the reporting industry is to start at the biggest organization you can find.. and then move to a smaller venue once you have gained enough experience..

HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

Oh and Dick Parsons is an independent agent totally separate from Turner and he never gets any directions from Mr. Fonda..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAA

Washington DC FM talk radio station 106.7 WJFK (http://www.wjfk.com/pages/1356.php?contentType=4&contentId=89714) yesterday announced it was dropping Bill O’Reilly’s nationally syndicated show, and replacing it with a sports-talk program. The Washington Post reports today that O’Reilly’s cancellation is a “case in point” of how poorly conservative radio programs (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/07/05/AR2007070501912_pf.html) have fared in DC:
With the exception of Rush Limbaugh, conservative talk-radio hosts have struggled for years to find a wide audience on the local dial. While Limbaugh’s afternoon program remains popular on WMAL (630 AM), not many other conservatives’ programs have.

Yet despite their underwhelming performance, numerous right-wing radio hosts have been given repeated opportunities to succeed in DC. “Such radio stars of the right as Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck and Michael Savage at times have literally had no ratings (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/07/05/AR2007070501912_pf.html) in Washington, as measured by Arbitron.”

In its diagnosis of conservative talk’s failures in the DC region, the Post points to a host of factors including the weak signals of some stations, weak programming, and the unique culture of the area that is resistant to political talk radio. One factor that went unmentioned, however, is the impact media consolidation has had on the local market.

In the Center for American Progress’s recent report on the “structural imbalance of political talk radio (http://www.americanprogress.org/issues/2007/06/pdf/talk_radio.pdf),” it noted that Washington DC had 65 percent conservative content and only 35 percent progressive (http://thinkprogress.org/2007/06/20/radio-report/). In this region, the market is dominated by only five owners:

<TABLE cellPadding=2 border=1><TBODY><TR><TH>Ownership</TH><TH># of stations</TH><TH>Station ID</TH></TR><TR><TD>Bonneville International</TD><TD>5</TD><TD>WFED, WGYS, WTOP, WTWP-AM, WTWP-FM</TD></TR><TR><TD>CBS Radio</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>WJFK</TD></TR><TR><TD>ABC, Inc.</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>WMAL</TD></TR><TR><TD>Radio One, Inc. (Urban Talk)</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>WOL</TD></TR><TR><TD>Clear Channel</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>WTNT, WWRC</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

This pattern of ownership homogeneity is reflected in radio markets throughout the nation. CAP’s report (http://www.americanprogress.org/issues/2007/06/pdf/talk_radio.pdf) calls for increasing the ownership diversity in the talk radio market, allowing more local participation in determining the content communities want to listen to.

At least DC knows what to do with right wing talk radio:
