Marine Corps Investigating Deaths

The Marine Corps is investigating the deaths of two Camp Lejeune marines. Officials say 20 year old LCpl. Williams Chambers of Ringgold, GA and 20 year old LCpl. Jeremy Tinnel of Mechanicsville, VA died June 1st in a non-hostile boat accident in the Euphrates River. The troops were conducting combat operations in Al Anbar Province. Both are assigned to the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Second M.E.F. The accident is still under investigation.
