My oldest daughter is coming back form her 'new start' in Tennesee today. Took her 6 days to figure out there is no place like home. I tried to tell her about humidity but it didn't sink in.... So glad to have her back.... after all, she's only 24;]

Did San Diego for 35 years. Beautiful weather, beautiful place...How 'bout that weekend rush hour? Started about 5 years ago. You know what I'm talkin about.

Haven't really noticed on the weekends. The commute from Escondido to SD and back is pretty tiring though

When I was stationed at San Meteo and wife was stationed at Coronado, Escondido seemed like a logical middle ground to live. We both had quite the drive. My platoon corpsman lived 2 blocks away and his wife worked at National City. We rode together to work and PT'd together on the weekends. When we left Hawaii my truck had 35 K miles on it, put on there over 5 year time frame, within a year my truck had over 100K miles on it. Everywhere you go in S. Cal is a long drive.
