Age waiver and the reserves

I have a general question I thought I'd ask you guys before going to the recruiter. I just turned 36 in May. Physically I am in great shape. I very much want to join the Marine Corp Reserves, but I understand they have certain age limits for Active duty. I didn't see anything regarding Reserve age requirements, so I am assuming they might be the same. The question is, can someone like myself at my age do the Marine Reserves? Has anyone here had experience getting a age waiver approved (at the age of 36) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The age limit is the same for Reserves since you'll be Active Duty starting off.
Might be tough getting a waiver. Best to get started now and don't waste any time. Visit a recruiter.
