Hello Everyone,
I have a question... my husband is thinking about a b-billet, and being the inquisitive wife that I am I have been reading about DI, recruiter, MCT instructor and MSG...
Well my question is that my husband has 2 page 11 entries, that aren't exactly positive, in his book, no njp's or anything like that, but in all the information pages state that none of the b-billets will accept any one that has derogatory page 11s, but as long as SNM only has 2 or less njp's that is ok...
Am I just lost? I thought that njp's were 'worse' than page 11s...
Can someone please give me a clue?

It's really going to depend on what those Page 11's are for. I had several Page 11's 'back in the day' but they never really affected me one way or the other. Now, that could have changed since 2001.
NJP's ARE more serious than Page 11's. Page 11's are simply "Administrative remarks".
Maybe someone got this confused with "Page 12's", which is the record of Court Martial as well as NJP....

Just like the person said above, it depends on what they were for. Indeed NJPs are worse than Page 11's, however, there are things called 1605 which is a result of a charge sheet being routed up with an intention of NJP but the Commander deciding to just go with the 1605 (Administrative Mark), sometimes those are bad enough.
I seriously doubt they would reject him though, especially for those B-Billets since no one ever wants to do them.
He should be ok...worst he could do is submit a package for them and they'd say 'no thanks'...
Tell him to ask his CRS.

As a former CRS, I would NEVER forward or mention the Pg 11's in either the checklist nor comments to MMEA-6 in the RELM request....if the particular duty assignment states "NJP or Courtsmartial" if the Marine does NOT apply, I'm not throwing him under the bus.
Many Pg 11's are jokes....many are entered erroneously with illegal entries...and if the Marine hasn't physically signed them, and it is on the current contract, I've seen Sgt'sMaj pull them from the SRB and shred them.
Recruiting Duty is fairly easy to get if the Marine requests the assignment, as not many Marine's want to do the duty hence the HRST visit's across the Marine Corps for Recruiters (we called them body-snatchers).
Assignment to DI or MSG duty is a bit different as there is serious competition to get these billets and assignments, but if the Marine is qualified per the checklist, I would forward them for consideration as per the order.
