About how many pushups should i be able to do before i go to boot camp?

you will never be able to do enough just work on it till you can go all day at it and remember every 2 pushups = 1 push up in th e Corps

You should be able to do thousands. Since you won't get there, just work to do as many as you can. My DI used to love to say "your next exercise will be Marine Corps pushups, you will do many of them. Begin." And then we would push until he got tired.
