Hair cut

So does anyone know if it is better to go to boot with your hair already trimmed to the skin, or if you should leave with a little on top, so they Drill Instructors don't think that you are trying to be a smart alec or some other term I can't think of right now.?

what they apparently do at boot is pretty much what I've been doing myself every two weeks for the last 7 years; if that's another ring on the rather large target already painted on me, so be it :D

i know this sounds retarded but id bic your head baby butt smooth you wont have any hair to fall off and make you itch because you will be up for 20 hours or so runnign around before you get your shower which is the following day when you hit the rack.

If you take a tour of the museum at MCRD SD there is a picture of a full blood indian receiving the first haircut he had ever gotten in his life. The description says his hair fell below his waste.

Either way... Just don't dye it red and give yourself a big fat greasy pompadour before you ship out. Like the other's have said you will be sitting on that barbers chair, they'll turn you around, and you'll have no hair...

Do you get regular haircuts during bootcamp, my hair grows very fast.

There is a regular barbershop there for recruites. You will get regularly scheduled haircuts and you will pay for them. By the time you graduate you will have enough hair on your head to almost have a regulation hair cut. Initially they just keep cutting it all off.

Every recruit that reports to either MCRD sits in the Barbers chair! Period! Kim, you'll have to answer the question about the Female Recruits! BTW you get to make that trip to the barber every two weeks, at the least! The last two trips they let your head look more like a High and Tight! You can actually comb it then----well somewhat!

and to answer probably not guys you need one once a week. and wait to you guys go to westpac they give rubs after you get haircuts TOTALLY NICE!!!! in thailand tye had HOT women wour shop had the most haircuts we got it cut twice a week.

NO! We're allowed to have ours as long as we want - we just have to put it up (without anything showing - pins, blah, blah) to where it doesn't fall below our collars.
