Is this another photo that has endured the test of time? This is the cover of "my" recruit book from 1970...
I have always wondered who these Marine are... I have heard that this same picture has been on many books up through the '80's and back as far as the mid '60's...
Anyone know who they are?

What era was that Boot Camp book from? It's the same 4 as on the cover of mine. HaHa.

Same here on my 1960 copy. Check out the cars in the background. Still, it shows how timeless the Marines are!

The Color Guard on my Platoon Book (Second Battalion, Honor Platoon 244) are carrying M-1's. I started bootcamp July 11, 1961, and graduated on September 20, 1961!!! Our Platoon Honorman and Blues Award winner was PFC J. E. Squire and I was the Platoon Guide.
