Thanks folks, for posting something that has a dollop of appreciation therein. Yes sir, the 1950's, and 1940's, as well as some of the 1960 US autos were widely admired and the money involved with a purchase of that era was usually money well spent. Sorry US built auto's, as I recollect, started during the 1970's, and we haven't recovered fully yet. It is my expectation that the Tulsa showing will be widely and appreciatively received, bringing back a lot of pleasant memories of good times. I remember the 1957 Plymouth (and the 1957 Chevrolet), 2 beautiful and worthy autos. I hope Lee Iacoca can be there (hope I didn't misspell your name, Sir). I still remember what Henry Ford said one time about Un-American built cars, as being "feces-box cars", only thing is he was more earthy and less contemptibly politically correct than I consider I better be in order not to offend the Moderators. I bet the 57 Plymouth will crank with a little bit of gas, oil and WD-40. Let's then go for a little ride down to the nearest drive in and share a libation of horse ****, or beer, whichever your favorite. Gary Hall, W-3-1, 50 - 51.

I'm trying to imagine what it would be like to win a BRAND NEW 1957 Plymouth Belvedere.

Just yesterday, I looked at a fully restored 1959 Chevy "Apache 31" pickup.
It looked sweet! Bright lemon yellow. Price- $19,000.00 OBO Too steep for me!
