Three Marines Unhurt in High Speed Car Crash

KANEOHE (KHNL) - Three Kaneohe marines walk away from a violent, high-speed car crash.
It happened shortly after 10 o'clock Tuesday night along the H-3 freeway near Kapaa Quarry. Honolulu police, say the driver of a 2001 Audi lost control of the wheel, as he turned toward Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The car flipped several times. Crews found the engine more than a football field away from the vehicle.
Miraculously, the three men walked away with minor scratches. Police believe the driver was speeding, but not drinking.
