I have heard of a new USMC Special Forces group called MARSOC. Can anyone clarrify what it is?

This is the Marine unit that is currently attached to JSOC. They are Force Recon Marines that report to the Joint Special Operations Command.
This is the USMC's attempt to get more specops missions.
