Does anyone know of any good books
about the Marine Corps or boot camp or something of that nature.
I read Charles Hathcock and the 93 confirmed kills book, that was a really good book.

Boot is good, but outdated. Making the Corps is newer, but still outdated.
I really like the Force Recon Diary books by Bruce Norton. He was a Corpsman in Vietnam and later became a Marine officer.
Those are my favorites.

Read or watch the movie Full Metal Jacket. It has the best Bootcamp story line......I laugh and get all kinds of memories when I watch it.

I think she's objecting to the technique rather than the sentiment. LOL.
