Conway assistant nominated for first star

The colonel serving as the commandant’s military assistant has been nominated for promotion to brigadier general, according to a Defense Department release.
Before taking his current post, Col. Kenneth McKenzie commanded the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit based at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
