Foundation Helps Wounded Veteran Own A Home

CHICAGO -- A wounded Iraq war veteran was on his way to owning a home, thanks to a special foundation, NBC5 reported on Tuesday.
Miguel Delgado, a sergeant in the Marines, was living in a tiny house with his mother, brother, wife and baby since he was injured. The Wounded Heroes Foundation held a groundbreaking for the first home built for a serviceman, a program they said they hope to expand nationwide.
The foundation provides assistance to the servicemen and women who have been injured in conflicts all over the world.
