What typicaly goes on in the day of a communications Marine?

It depends which MOS you have and whether you are in the field or not. When we were in garrison we usually did vehicle PMs on Monday and Tuesday. Wen-Fri we would do classes on the gear, have inspections, PT in the morning and afternoon, and cross train with people from other MOS's.

In the field we had a watch schedule that would usually be something like 12 hours on watch and 24 hours off watch. When you weren't on watch you didn't have much to do other than providing security for the site.

You have a shipdate and you don't know anything about what you are going to be doing or what your duties are? I say you don't need no stinkin garantee program just be lucky to have been accepted.

I think you should be more concerned about what goes on on a typical day at Recruit Training.
