I recently had my subscription to another online service hacked. They got my password, and on that service, I use the same username that I use here. Please be wary of my account for the next few days, as I don't regularly post here, so any post may not really be me. I'm changing the password, but just in case, don't attribute any questionable activity to me for probably the next week.
PS: Hackers should be punished painfully - as should anyone who violates another person's property rights.

I bumped into a VP from IBM at the local Junior College, she said that anyone can get into your computer if they want to, and if they can't they can pay someone to !
I know a Marine Captain that emailed the Joint Chiefs of Staff, attention General Pace. Within minutes his "C" drive was fried. It was okay though, he had a back up http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/tsmileys2/09.gif
I wonder what he told Perfect Peter http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/tsmileys2/06.gif

Yeah, I don't think they really "hacked my computer" like taking control of the whole thing, nor do I think they brute-force gained access to the account. I'd say they just recorded my password with a keylogger.
Just be wary of any nasty posts this week. I myself will only be posting on this thread in case someone says something that warrants a reply.

agravlin this is good advice but you are not allowed to post in the Marine forum they can read it here if they wish.

I understand that viginlence to one's one progress is important but let me share something with you.
This is a prayer I wrote on behalf of a flag retiring cermamony one July 4, 2005. I think it may be appropriate and applicable to everyone's situations.
Blessed are you Lord, God of our Fathers. We do well to join all creation in heaven and on Earth in praising you. You made man in your own image and set him over all creation. Once, you chose a people and gave them a destiny, and when you brought them out of bondage to freedom they carried with them the promise that all men would be blessed and all men could be free
Your pledge to us of old has come to pass in every generation that has enjoyed this beautiful land. You have given us a new freedom in your spirit. It happend to our fathers who came to this land as if out of the desert with a place of promise and hope
It happens still in our time as you lead all men to the blessed vision of peace. And so with hearts full of love and gratitude we honor those who shed their blood so that we may never know the bondage of opression nor live in the fear of tyrants.
As we honor those who have paid the ultimate price of freedom may we never forget that our debt to them is vigilence eternal.
Grant to them the everlasting peace of your kingdom and to us the sincerity of faith and dedication of purpose.
To you be all glory, honor, and praise...now and forever.
Amen.
