Does DEP give you a promotion after you graduate from boot camp?

Depends.................do you have anything under your belt already that would qualify you for one? Like: ROTC, college courses...............if so, ask your Recruiter. I got mine for ROTC.

Just being in DEP does not. Doing things while you're in DEP can.

The time in DEP will count towards your total service commitment.
