92 Day Reservist Question/Problem.

Alright well my recruiter told me to today I needed a letter from my college saying basically this :

Note: The applicant will be required to produce a letter from the appropriate institution conforming with the requirements of the MCO 1001.54_, which identifies the earliest date the applicant must return to school to begin scheduled classes, registration, ECT. This date will be used by Recruiting Personnel to calculate the number of days the applicant has to complete Recruit Training. (I got this from a google search)

So I went today to my school and the lady told me she didn't know what I was talking about, although the student help center was closing when I asked so that may have had a bit to do with it, maybe she just wanted to ger rid of me. Anyway would anybody who already received this letter be able to tell me what office in a college would I go to for something like this? I know colleges generally have a Registrars office and Bursars office etc. Would anyone know? Or if I go to the general help desk at school what would I ask for?

I've got about a month left and my recruiter has been hard to get a hold of so any help would be greatly appreciated, as always.

I did this a couple of months ago. Your recruiter will give you the form and you have to have it filled out by someone at the Registrar's office. The Registrar is where you register to be enrolled in the school and for your classes, so it only makes sense to have a letter dealing with your enrollment be signed by someone there. They should know what you're talking about when you go there, and if they're stupid (like the people at my school are) just tell them to fill it out the best they can.

You're the best, I guess I'll go see the CO of my RS to get the form. I knew I didn't just go there and say "hey type me up a letter that says when I have to come back from Boot Camp"

man the same thing happen to me my recruitor didnt know what the paper was and didnt give it to me, so i askd for them to type it out and then when i went to meps they were like nope u dont have our form filled out for that 92 slot and we cant put u in that so i signed for regular reserves but after i made a few calls at meps i got on the phone with the master serg. and he garunteed me my spot and faxed over the forum i need'd. **** my recruitor didnt even know the difference between 92 day and regular reservist, i had to explain it to him..but i gave it to the head of the office and they supposibly faxed it to meps and i got the slot so we''ll see in 2 weeks

but my recruitor was pretty cool guy, and i trusted him a lil more than the last guy i talked to but the head recruitor i liked this guy he was former recon adn i trust in them. i dont think he'd lie to me and is my hero for getting me in

Well according to the NCOIC of my RS, my MOS isn't splittable. This means either regular reserves or a change of MOS.. going to have to do some thinking tonight.
