View Full Version : Reserve Unit Deployment Schedules?
Is there anyway that I can know when/if my Reserve Unit I'm attaching to will deploy again? It is the 2/24 out of Des Moines, IA (Echo Co I believe).

Nope, there is no way to know. Even if there was a set time, it wouldn't be public knowledge until it came close. But, since there is a push to begin cutting troop strength in Iraq blah blah, there is no way to know if more units will be going or if there will be only the minimum number sent as replacements or something.
Alright Thank You. I've heard that they go on a deployment, come back, and the next one is usually 2 years from the time they come back. That time is coming soon. Also, could anyone tell me what the build-up process is like for Reserve Units? Is it the same as Active Duty where they go train for a month or two then get deployed? Thank you again.
