Gunny G,
Read your post on Lt. Col. Harold G Schrier.
Is there a way to get his nephew(John David Eaton)
and myself together?
As a mere child growing up in Birmingham, Alabama in
the early 50's, I had the honor of living next door to
then Major Schrier and his wife Mrs. Tommie.
Childless at the time, they more or less adopted my
brother and I as there own.

I have a few photos of him with my brother and I
that I would like to share with him.

Thanks and Semper Fi,
Barney
