92 day reservist question?

My son is being offered something called a 92 day reservist program. I have searched through google and am having trouble finding direct information. My son is currently a Junior at The Citadel and is being told by his OCS Screener/Recruiter (sorry if I have terms wrong or spelling) that he needs a little push in the PFT score. He recommends this program to complete boot camp this summer, he is gauranteed to finish schooling, be assigned to a reserve unit during his senior year, apply for OCS when he returns to school, hopefully be accepted to OCS, OCS orders over rule Reservist orders. Thats about it any feedback? Thanks

That sounds about right. Of course, if he is not accepted to OCS he will have to finish his reserve contract- which will probably mean MOS school the next summer, possible deployments, etc.
