Anybody know where to find the locations for infantry reservist Companys? Im from Washington and Im not sure if there is a unit near there.

There is a reserve recon company in Az with your name on it. They might even occasionally let you drill at Ft. Lewis or Yakima. It is a thought.

Try Montana... They have a BN Reconnaissance unit there, or least they used to. We had a Gunner who used to drill up here in AK back in the 80s who lived in, I want to say WA, because he didn't want to get stuck in Motor T, Bulk Fuel, or a Tank/LAV unit (I think that's all WA has in Reserves). He had some sort of waiver and paid for travel out of his own pocket or took military hops. I know in AK they stood down our local reserve unit and transferred the assets and personnel to other states. Lack of interest and issues of leadership. Too bad as they were an awesome recruiting tool.

Have you asked your recruiter? He can explain it to ya better then we old salts can!

Answer the POOLEE's question. The GI bill for a reservist will pay about 300 a month. But once you become a vet in most states you can receive school for free.
