When you get your boots issued you'll just go in this room and try on 50 pairs of boots and whichever one feels comfortable, you keep those. Just because a boot feels comfortable does not mean it fits your foot properly, and you won't realize it until your first hump when you get blisters.

Also, make sure when you go to 02 clothing issue that you get the right size coraframs, my coraframs are too small and too narrow and my feet were KILLING me during graduation.

i got issued extra wide and my foot is narrow.. my boots always looked like **** because they would crinkle. but just wait for qual when you might get two left boots one 2 sizes to big and the other 5 sizes too small...

I failed CWS-4 because my right boot came off in the pool because it was a size 12 and it had no laces. Thankfully I got to redo the swim qual and got up to CWS-2.

Remember when you were a child and your Mom took you to go buy a new pair of shoes? It will pretty much be the same experiance except you'll have several DIs yelling at you to get the fit right the first time around. You will try them on! You "should" get the correct size the first time around - just pay attention and don't let the mayhem going on around you get you sidetracked.

Get a size where your comfortable with cuz your gonna be doing some slamming of the heels on the tarmaq. Dont know if they still do this in boot but we would get our socks and boots wet then walk, eerrr march, eerrr run in them and Daddy:evilgrin: would say this will make yer boots mold to your feet better, dont know if it made any difference but what Daddy said , Daddy got !! Carry on Maggots !!
