My question to those of you Marines is this. Were you able to use Skin So Soft in Boot Camp? My brother is a Marine and he said that if you are allowed to use it, it does wonders for the Sand Fleas. I will be leaving at the end of this month and am curious.

They let us use it in 84 for about the first month and then they made us quit using it because it clogs the pores and doesn't let you sweat like you should to cool your body down (or some stupid trash) - it DOES work good on them sandfleas though.

I just got some recently.

It works in Parris Island but not in Thailand.

When I was in the field near Beaufort for an operation it seemed to me that the bugs liked me MORE when I had that stuff on. But, regardless, you can see that you will be able to use it- at least some of the time.

It's from all the sugar you ooze E4B - they know when somebody has a really big heart.

Seems like it does draw 'em to you but they won't bite and it washes off with a shower. When you were in the field you just got attacked cause you invaded their territory - I bet that was hell!

We weren't allowed to use it, however I bought a small bottle at the PX and put it all inside my hand sanitizer bottle and used it anyways. My DI's just thought I was sanitizing my hands and arms.
