Hey 10thz ! - Wouldn't it be simpler to just spray flat black paint on the lenses of the goggles, and continue selling them to our enemies? They would just think they were "broke!":D

Don't laugh, we done something similar !

We sold Polish (Warsaw Pact) troops radios that a had a self destruct circuit that we could activate remotely.

I quit buying Toshiba products after they sold Russia submarine propeller technology in 1987. Before that, we could hear their propellers when they started up in the Black Sea. Now we don't even know they are out there.

In 1987 (http://en.allexperts.com/e/0/1987.htm), Toshiba was accused of illegally selling CNC (http://en.allexperts.com/e/c/cn/cnc.htm) milling machines (http://en.allexperts.com/e/m/mi/milling_machine_.htm) used to produce very quiet submarine (http://en.allexperts.com/e/s/su/submarine.htm) propellers to the Soviet Union (http://en.allexperts.com/e/s/so/soviet_union.htm) in violation of the CoCom (http://en.allexperts.com/e/c/co/cocom.htm) agreement. The incident put a strain on relations between the United States (http://en.allexperts.com/e/u/un/united_states.htm) and Japan (http://en.allexperts.com/e/j/ja/japan.htm) and resulted in the arrest and prosecution of two senior executives, as well as the imposition of sanctions (http://en.allexperts.com/e/s/sa/sanctions.htm) on the company by both countries.

10thz- The Poles probably thought they broke those radios by "talking too loud" into them.
As for the Soviet propellors, I would have just attached those "ratchety sounding" party noise makers.

10thz- The Poles probably thought they broke those radios by "talking too loud" into them. No, those are the ones we sold to Italy !
As for the Soviet propellors, I would have just attached those "ratchety sounding" party noise makers. I would of let Toro Lawn-mower people show them how to put the propeller blade [bolt] on. My Toro lawn-mower blade instructions show CCW, suppose to be CW. They wont know if they are lefty loosy or righty tighty ! Sheesh...
