Friendly Fire in An Nasiriyah: Pentagon Cover Up or Inept Investigation?
DEFENSEWATCH SPECIAL REPORT

A new web based media outlet, "The Enterprise Report" (ERSNews.com) has exclusively obtained never before seen photos of the battle at an-Nasiriyah, the largest single loss of American troops since the start of the Iraq War.

In an exclusive investigative report the veracity of the Pentagon's investigation into the deaths of at least 9 US Marines is brought into question. Was the Pentagon covering up or was their investigation inept?

The official Pentagon investigation concluded that it was a "friendly fire" incident, but concluded that no Marines had been killed by the "friendly fire."

Official US military photos of the scene, also obtained by ERSNews.com were withheld until obtained under the Freedom of Information Act. According to ERSNews.com, those official photos may have been altered by military officials.

The non-official photos obtained by ERSNews.com and additional exclusive investigative reporting indicate something other than the Pentagon's official explanation happened and nine US Marines lost their lives that day due to a deadly sequence of errors.
