HERMITAGE, Pa. A Pennsylvania cemetery known for flying flags that commemorate Americans taken hostage in Iran in 1979 is now flying the Union Jack in honor of 15 British sailors and Marines being held by Iran.

Hillcrest Memorial Park in Hermitage flies 444 American flags to represent each day the American hostages were held in Iran. Tom Flynn, president of the park, says yesterday's ceremony to raise the Union Jack is meant to call attention to the parallels between that incident and the current hostage crisis involving the British crew.Iran has held the Britons since March 23rd when they were patrolling for smugglers in a waterway that marks a disputed border between Iraq and Iran.Iran says the crew was in Iranian waters. Britain insists it was in Iraqi waters working under a United Nations mandate.
