Marine reported killed in Anbar fighting

BAGHDAD — A Marine was killed Tuesday in fighting in Anbar province, the military said.
The Marine assigned to Multinational Force — West died while conducting combat operations in the Sunni insurgent stronghold west of Baghdad, the military said in a statement.
It provided no more details, saying the Marine’s identity would not be released pending notification of relatives.
