Veterans can show how they served
Moberly Monitor Index, MO

Men and women who served in the U.S. Armed Forces can now show how they served. A small group of retired veterans makes over 30 special metalized film window stickers and magnetic vehicle plaques honoring military service in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Overseas Expeditionary Campaigns and Peacetime, with the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines. They are called VetSignias and feature black print on bright metallic silver, with a stars and stripes background.

Veterans who served in wartime can display the war served and their branch of service for example: Vet/Korea/U.S. Army or Vet/Vietnam/U.S. Marines.

VetSignias for those who served in Expeditionary Campaigns such as: Panama, Somalia, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc., show Branch of Service and Expeditionary, example Vet/U.S. Army/Expeditionary or Vet/U.S. Air Force/Expeditionary.

Veterans who served in Peacetime can get VetSignias that show Vet and their Branch of Service like Vet/U.S. Navy or Vet/U.S. Coast Guard.

“The public should know the veterans in their communities,” said Bob Kline, a WWII Marine and spokesman for the VetSignia group. “Our aim is to provide a neat, attractive way for all veterans to show their service. VetSignias are not big billboards or banners, but they are a distinctive reminder to all.”

All VetSignias, window stickers and magnetic vehicle plaques, can be viewed on the internet at www.vetsignia.org.

VetSignia Window Stickers are 3/$10-Magnetic Vehicle Plaques are 2/$10, shipping and handling included. Send requests to Bob Kline, Box 382, Blue Bell, Pa. 19422. Be sure to include your branch of service and war served, expeditionary or peacetime. Phone 610-277-1171 or e-mail bobk.ww2usmc@vetsignia.org
