Outside of recruit training, I seem to remember in almost every squadbay I'd ever been in, a variety of things. One was a unit logo prominently painted on the deck right in the middle. Does anyone have any pictures of theirs?

Another thing I remember was a picnic table next to the DNCO's desk covered with... (P o r n o!) :D

Found another photo, B 1/10, 2nd Mar Div, in 1978.

Brian...what's the deal on resurrecting a 9 year old topic?
As Wyoming posted, this topic hasn't been posted in since 7-15-02.

My question would be if people have a problem with someone putting their 2 cents in on a thread... WHY even have the thread on here lets say after a certain amount of time?
Alot of times I will be reading threads and by chance look at the date... I dont look at the date on every thread I read...
Whats the harm of replying to an old thread??

None at all. Sometimes it's good to bring stuff back 'from the dead', and most of the time I don't look at the date either, unless it's by someone who I know isn't very active on the forum anymore, then it's sorta like "Huh"?

I only have issues with it if it wouldn't be 'topical' information for wannabees/poolees.

The problem is that there are so many good threads on here... it's impossible to read them all in a timely manner... LOL

Chuck,
Thanks for the support. This happens to be the site to exchange ideas and thoughts. Maybe this particular subject should go to the War Room.
I was embarrassed replying to old threads after I was 'called' on it
