The Canadian Marine Corps
Strategy Page

March 14, 2007: Canada is forming a Marine Corps, sort of. Although no stranger to amphibious operations, Canada has never had a separate amphibious force. During World War II, Canadian soldiers went ashore at Normandy, the largest amphibious operations ever conducted. Canadian troops participated in other amphibious operations as well. But now Canada is forming a battalion seized force trained and equipped for amphibious work. The new force will operate with the coast guard in guarding the countrys vast coastline, and will also train in counter-terror operations. This will mean the new force will be able to deploy overseas for coastal and riverine security operations. The new force will also be available to assist in rescue work during natural disasters on the coasts of Canada. Maybe not marines, but definitely amphibious.

well that's a good thing cuz canada is on our side, i don't really get how some americans don't like canadians. i remember a poll back in 9th grade where my teacher said which country has talked about the united states this year. and it was canada, and french was least, it was probably because france hated us cuz we went to war stuff. but yeah canada is good
