I just read this in the Marine Corps times. The Corps is going to field a even newer combat uniform. Its called FROG or flame resistant operational gear. They look identical to the cammies we have now, once you have a flak jacket on. I found a link that at least talks about them.

if its a pound lighter than the flightsuits we got to wear our last month in country, then that is LIGHT

Its good they are focused on what's really happening at the Tip of The Spear. Hey, These Marines need fire protection that weighs less than what they got.

We need more of that thinking.
