Ummm...well, DUH. Alcohol and the military have been wedded together since time immemorial. The idiotic "GO #1" in the middle east has been proven time and time again to be un-enforceable. Yet another sop to Political Correctness so as not to offend the people we are fighting.

Granted, abuse of alcohol and drugs are a problem, not just for the military, but society as a whole, the military is simply a microcosm in that regard.

A basic leadership tenet that was left by the wayside on this:

"Never give an order you know is Un-enforceable".
