Can you narrow down the search by providing his rank and/or MOS? I've found at least three that might be the person you are looking for - a Major, a MGySgt, and a 1stSgt.
He's from St.Louis Mo
I do not know his MOS.
I know he's been in Okinawa sense the late '60's early 70's.

Since you say that he is retired, I will assume that he is possibly one of the three individuals I mentioned above. I will have to check their homes of record and current residence to see if I can narrow it down further.

I'm not sure if i have the right person, but I seem to remember my uncle mentioning a Larry Price that was retired from the Marine Corps. Is there any way that he could have ended up in Kentucky? Please don't get your hopes up , it may not be the right person. I will have to contact my uncle to find out more. Sorry.
