Hey ive been wanting to be a Marine for most of my life. Im wondering whats the difference between enlisting 17 or 18. I know you have to finish high school anyway before going to boot. Does this mean you get any prep training? Thanks guys for the help

Dan any Poolee could have answered your question but they are not allowed to post on the Ask A Marine forum. You can join the delayed entry program or DEP at 17 and a senior in high school with parental consent. And yes you will receive training at Pool functions at your RSS. There are also many knowlege training oppritunities right here for you on Leatherneck if you take the time to read the Poolee forums (All Of Them).
