Last evening I was discussing with my back home getting divorced daughter (3 kids) about how her work was going. She said that her boss was in a bad mood one of her fellow sales personnel called in sick. I told her did you get his commissions ? She said, yes. I then asked her how much she sold today ? She replied $80,000.00.

I then asked her, ever think about going into you own business ? I noticed hesitation, and not enough money chain of thought. I said there are people who should be in business, that are willing to work 12 hour days seven days a week and those that should work for other people five days 40 hours a week.

Further I said, your sister-in-law is the comptroller for a national corporation, the boss ! She, replied, well she is lucky ! I then replied, Luck is being prepared for when opportunity arises ! Her response, http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/tsmileys2/12.gif

Nobody likes me http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/tsmileys2/17.gif

It has been my experience that luck often requires preparation and opportunity, however, more often than not, luck was simply that...luck. Some of the most outstanding things have happened in my life, just out of the blue. Things that I would not have had the forethought to prepare for. As for nobody liking her...that's more a case of self-esteem than it is luck. I wish her the best in whatever she decides to do!

Correction, she is well liked, it's me that I'm referring to !

She is a looker like Nikki http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/tsmileys2/07.gif, the guys can't keep their eyes off her. That is problematic in itself. She has been given Corvettes (2) and diamond bracelets and lost, only to get another one http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/tsmileys2/34.gif.

Too bad I wasn't born with good looks (me)http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/tsmileys2/22.gif

I'd consider myself lucky if 10thz will tell me how to capture that little "dancin' banana"! He dances way better than me, so if I can attach him to 'stuff', maybe I can learn a step or two!!!
The banana in our emoticons here only knows one dance, and it's boring!

I recall as a young lad my father telling me "Son, you fell from the top of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down...We're gonna have to work on gettin' you a personality!!!"

I am not certain about that! My looks haven't improved any, and I managed to attract a mate or two, so it was either the personality or the GHB...not sure which!!! My wife just says that she needs her eyes checked...I'm not sure what she means by that, either! lol

Just don't buy her glasses if you want to keep her; best to keep the lights dim, too! (and Tequila)

Damn, I forgot all about spelling ! Just as well, as there was only one perfect being, and you know what they did to him !

Reminded of pvt Bender. He was a great big sucker. Ask him about some malfunction on a car and he would say give me the keys, leave a twenty on the seat and a 12 pack in the trunk. Best shade tree mechanic I ever met. Put a jeep in his pack and he would carry it up 7 steps then ask for more. Liberty was his downfall.
