I went into the office today just to check in and Gunny was there. He came up to me and was like "I either have some good news or bad news for you. I know you have been trouble with your grades this semester, but are you going to pass?". So I let him know the whole deal and how I'm def. gonna pass the classes, I just want to get better grades in them. Anyways...he was like "Well thats good because do you want a bonus?". So I asked him what he was talking about and he said something about a $2000 bonus for my job just opened up or something. I thought he was joking, but then he showed me some paper and didn't seem like he was joking about it. I'm confused :scared:

Times change and the Corps changes with it whether I agree with it or not. Just consider yourself lucky smile and roll with the bennies!

I feel like a tool whenever I say it. Maybe RT will give me some confidence. Well not maybe lol...it will. Supply and Accounting. Could be why...I'm guessing not many people go into the recruiting office to see what they can do in accounting.

I got a bonus just for asking for one back in 1996, 2000 dollars, paid to me after SOI when i was at MCSF Training Co, Chesapeake. I ****ed it away.

I got $3000 when I enlisted.
I got a 60,000$ bonus for my job.
