A Web site has been set up for family, friends and fellow Marines to follow the recovery progress of Lance Cpl. Travis Dodson, who was wounded in a grenade attack on Feb. 14 in Haqlaniyah, Iraq.

Dodson lost his left leg at the hip and his right leg below the knee, according to a report in the Stars & Stripes. The report said the grenade landed in Dodson's lap. Lance Cpl. Daniel T. Morris, a 19-year-old radio operator, was killed in the attack.

Dodson and Morris are part of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment deployed from Kaneohe Bay.

The site travisdodson.com includes a daily diary that gives tips on flight deals, which hotels are near the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., updates on Dodson's condition, what's next and there is also a guest book to leave encouraging words for Dodson and his family along with a photo album.

According to the Stars & Stripes report, Dodson, 21, sat on the floor cleaning his rifle at a temporary combat post when an insurgent hurled a grenade through the barred window just after 5:15 p.m. on Valentine's Day.
