I already took it once... but I'm not satisfied with my GT score. My school is offering the test next month... and I was wondering... If I score lower on my second test, will they count my best score one or count the most recent one?

does the job you want require a higher GT score than the one you got?

Yes... how many points can you waive using a waiver? 5 points right?

I don't know why I only scored a 99 on GT part... the rest were at least 110... might be because I'm an immigrant =P

I need 100 for SF... which is what I want to do, but down the road I want try the indoc for Recon. I'm worried because I'm pretty sure the waiver is 5 points max... If that was the case I'd be 1 point away from trying the indoc for Recon. I'm not 100% sure I want to try out for Recon though, it's too early to tell. I'll judge that after getting to my infantry unit... but I don't want 1 point stopping me If later down the road, I do decide I want to try out for Recon.

Thats weird. I know a kid who scored a 27 on the AFQT and had a 96 on the GT.
What was your AFQT?

It was either 48 or 52.

Might have been a 46 too.

It's one of those... I took it a while ago.

From what I understand, they count your most recent score, not the highest score for the ASVAB.

They account your most recent score, so if you took the ASVAB one day and a week later you take another one and you score lower than they will take that instead.
