You think that about Murtha and he served? But yet you back deserting cowards and five time draft dodgers?
But I guess now you'll throw that Clinton stuff up again since it's the only retort you seem to have. Sort of like the repub jerk I work with that keeps throwing up Gore only taking pictures. Gee I guess I must be in that same boat since I was a radio operator in Nam, all I did was talk on the radio. Well i guess I should have had my daddy jump me over 100,000 names and then desert my obligation too. I might be considered a real American hero today.

ridingcrops- Lee Harvey Oswald served in the Marine Corps too. I suppose that makes him alright, just like Murtha?
The fact that Murtha served as a Marine officer, he more than most, should understand that regardless of political views...the troops at the front MUST have bullets, beans, and bandages! Yet this scumbag Murtha is doing everything in his power to get all aspects of funding pulled out from underneath our troops.
I suspect if this guy strapped on his "deuce-gear" and saddled-up to Iraq, he wouldn't last ten seconds on the front lines. Some American would hopefully shoot him in the face with a .45!!! I'd pay to see that one!

Muurrrrrda is a toad of the highest order.

Crops, once again I love hearing the left wing socialist point of view.

I don't need to throw out 'that clinton stuff' because it's not relevant right now, since HE isn't relevant right now.

ms murtha is a disgrace to our Marine Corps. He is senile, old, has-been, pseudo-politician, of the lowest grade (I rank him right there with ****head jefferson, you know the ****head from LA who took a bribe from the FBI and keeps $90,000 cash in his freezer). murtha and jefferson both are currupt as can be AND STILL THEIR STATES KEEP PUTTING THEIR FATASSES BACK IN OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dumbass MFing people!!!!!!!!

Political parties are a dangerous phenomenon. They remove the power to think for oneself. Individuals who become Republicans or Democrats no longer evaluate issues according to fixed principles. They care only about parties. Their worst fear is that the opposition party will win the next election.

Would those Republicans have cheered so wildly if it had been Bill Clinton who'd had the "courage" to invade Afghanistan and Iraq? Would any Democrats be opposing the Iraqi war if John Kerry or John Murtha had started it?

Obviously, the answer to both questions is no.

As the Admiral says in Gilbert & Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore:

<DIR><DIR>
I grew so rich that I was sent
by a pocket borough into Parliament.
I always voted at my party's call,
And I never thought for myself at all.
I thought so little, they rewarded me
By making me the Ruler of the Queen's Navee!

Woo-hoo. Politics! I LOVE Politics...gets ugly fast and you learn a lot about people in pretty short order. Frankly, I think Marines should be discouraged from political affiliations. The kind of back-biting required to be successful in that arena is beneath the average Marine (unless, of course, said Marine is in it to advance our cause...have to be an Independant though. LOL)

Just thought I'd stir the pot a little

Have a Great Day :flag:
