I personally believe that to be BS. About the only difference is how thay have you mark you gear, or make your racks. Very minor stuff.

They have SOP they have to follow. Its funny how Bootcamp stories from both coasts sound so similar, and yet they are separated by 3000+ miles.

I wouldn't concern myself. Recruit training companies don't have quite the sets of traditions as a rifle company might (such as Fox/2/7 and others). Their individual idiosyncrasies change as the company leadership changes.

If you're bored, go do some more pullups or run four or five miles. Make sure you can pass the IST and don't sweat the small crap like recruit company traditions.

I have the IST down. I just can't wait till my ship date... Time is moving so slow.. I think ill go do some pull ups now.

Are you going to PI or SD? If going to PI you will be with me in Golf Co 2nd RTBN

If you filled out your profile, you'd get to stay here until June and chat with me :)

I believe I'm going June 11 also.

Go to the link 2007 graduation schedule and it looks like Lima Co 3rd Battalion.

I don't know more than that though. If you find out anything about the company I'd be interested to know.

Ill ask my recruiter next time. Some of my friends found out that way. I hear Lima should be fun.
