We would like to know if any of you folks would be interested in seeing Marine Corps Historical Center, which is located in DC.....

NEW HOURS!

The Marine Corps Historical Center on the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC will be closed on weekends and federal holidays, due to the current threat condition. If you would like to visit or conduct research at the Historical Center during normal working hours, please call the number below to make arrangements to get access to the Navy Yard. To access the Navy Yard, use the 11th and O St. gate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Mondays - Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday evenings (summer) 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday - Sundays and holidays Closed



Group Tours

Although the museum is designed to allow visitors to be self-guiding, guided tours can be conducted for groups with prior arrangements. Scheduling information can be obtained by calling (202) 433 - 0731.


Parking

A limited number of parking spaces are available in front of the museum. Visitor parking spaces on the Navy Yard is outlined in blue on the street surface or in parking garages. Ask the gate guard for directions and how to obtain a parking pass. Outlines in red are reserved and subject to ticketing if appropriate decals or passes are not visibly displayed.

Location

The Marine Corps Museum is located in Washington, DC, just inside the 9th and M Streets, S.E., gate to the Washington Navy Yard in building 58.
