Marine dies of ‘non-hostile cause’

A Marine who died in Anbar province last week was not a result of combat, the Defense Department reported Tuesday.
Cpl. Richard Quill, 22, died Feb. 1 “from a non-hostile cause,” a Defense Department statement said. Corps officials did not immediately report an ongoing investigation.
Quill was assigned to Camp Pendleton-based 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines.
