There was a military homecoming of sorts in Topsham Saturday. Members of "Company A", a marine reserve unit based in Maine and Massachusetts got together for a lunch.
The marines returned from Iraq in October, and for many of them this is the first time they've seen each other since then. As you can imagine, they had a lot of catching up to do. They also enjoyed a big fest complete with steak, potatoes, and cake.

Major Bennett Walsh has only good things to say about his company.

"I'm real proud of these marines. They represent a lot of the good warriors from Maine and Massachusetts. Good young men. I'm proud to be part of them, Maine should be really proud of the marines they have for Company A," says Walsh.

Major Walsh says in addition to dining on all that good *chow*, the Marines will update their paperwork, and prepare for future training exercises and possible deployments.
