It does not matter who fights on the right or wrong side of WWII. This film goes beyond that. It is about what is right or wrong for the individual human being. It excels as a story about the human heart.

There were allot of old gray headed Marine movie goers today at 1:30 PM. I talked to one afterward, a Korean Vet, he & his wife liked it. I imagine the younger Marines will be there this evening.

This is one of, if not the best, movie ever directed by Clint Eastwood.

2 hours 21 minutes long.

English Subtitles (not a problem)
