what types are there?

what about LIVING WILL 'S ?DO'S? DON'T 'S Of having one ?

At least these two documents, along with a will, are essential. A will has no effect until the maker is deceased. A living will (Declaration of a Natural Death, whatever) allows a person to limit the kind of care they want to continue "living" in case of terminal illness, irreversible coma, etc. A power of attorney designates who can act for you when you are unavailable, incompetent, or simply desire a third party to act for you. Along with a living will, many states have a document which is a Health Care Power of Attorney which designates a person you want to make decisions concerning your health care when you are not capable of making that decision. This document works in conjunction with a living will.
