Right there shows the difference between the two branches. No offense to the army dude or anything, but that picture just goes to show how much more respect and dignity the Corps has.

Truth be known...that L/Cpl's frame cover is not in top form either. The EGA should face front, not the ground. The trick in my day was to straighten the silver part of the 'frame', then, turn the 'frame' inside-out before inserting it into the white cloth cover, finally plugging the frame into the slot in the brim.
Look closely at the 'shape' of the dress blue covers worn by Marines in Washington, D.C. (8th & I) or "poster Marines." Their emblem faces front, and the top of the cover has a slightly curved shape, instead of just 'flat.'
Just my thoughts. Not tryin' to bust on anybody.

When I stood at parade rest my arms were behind my back. This Marine is at ease.
