Two Reserve one-stars tapped for promotion

Two Marine Corps Reserve brigadier generals have been nominated for promotion to major general, the Pentagon announced late Wednesday.
The first nominee is Brig. Gen. Douglas Stone, who is the commanding general of Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms, Calif.
The second is Brig. Gen. Eugene Payne, who is serving as the director of the U.S. Central Command Deployment Distribution Operations Center in Kuwait.
