I have posted a few times on here, and I just want to say that everyone seems really helpful. It has been a long journey for me. I first talked to, and please dont hate me, the army recruiter in August 06, he said i had to lose some weight. I was 243lbs. I hit the gym hard and heavy. I got down to 225, still not enough. I was living in Minnesota at the time. My dad got sick in Nevada, So I came back to Las Vegas. Well i was stressed, did lose anymore weight. Put off military ideas for a bit, then my dad got better, and told me to follow my dream. Well as I have posted before he was a Marine. Well I contacted an Army recruiter in Nevada, started the process again, still needed to lose weight, but dragged my feet. My problem is I am prior service with RE code 3. So I was not sure of my options at the time. Well I felt like the Army recruiter was jerking me around. So one day recently I decided to contact the Marine Corps recruiter, I felt in my heart, Marines would be better for me. I talked to Master Sgt Flack in Las Vegas. Turned me on to Staff Sgt Miller, she is an awesome recruiter. Well on Jan 2, 07 I weighed 220, now I weigh in at 212. For dep I need to be 209. So I am close. It will be an honor to graduate and walk the same parade field my dad did. Also to just say I am a member of The United States Marine Corps, there is no one better. Sorry for the long windedness. I am hoping to either be air field firefighter and rescue specialist or military police. Right now I am waiting for the results of my tattoo waiver. Any advice on how to kick the last four o five lbs, would be appreciated. Thank you

Rob

Robg9178 if you look through the forums there are a few topics about losing weight. Try HIIT alot to most of the Marines on here suggest it for running and losing weight, look it up on google and see what you can find on the program.
