One of my best Bro's in MCLB Albany was Amtracs. He said once when he was on float he was assigned Cpl of the Guard. One of his Marines was sitting down with his rifle under his feet. He asked the PFC why wasn't he carrying his weapon. "It got heavy".
My buddy took him to the Sgt of the Guard. "Heavy? We'll show you heavy!" So they got a Ma-Deuce, made a sling out of twine and made the PFC carry it for the rest of the tour. :banana:

Thanks all, and No I did mean Tracks Semper Fi. If you ever get bored and want something fun to do go to 2ND Assault Amphibian BN in Camp Lejuene they give Amtrac rides to civilians, especially Marines. After that you'll know what I mean lol. Semper Fi all good to be onboard.

And since we are in the topic I've been here for a while also but because of work I dont get to come here as often as I would like. Therefore I havent introduced myself either. My Name if Jorge (pronounced George). And there is no prouder moment than marching down the parade deck, and being introduced as a MARINE.
